Lockdown at Princeton - Lukily only a toy gun

The Ivy League campus was locked down for about a half-hour Wednesday after someone reported seeing a male with a handgun.

The school's Web site and alert system advised people around 11 a.m. to stay inside after a report of a male with what appeared to be a handgun near DOD Hall dormitory.

The Police were dispatched to PRINCETON, N,J. (AP) and after a thorough search of the campus. An all-clear was issued around 11:25 a.m. Police continue to investigate. Princeton University's Public Safety Department reported there's no gunman on the Ivy League campus.
Police say a gun scare at Princeton University began when four teen boys found a toy gun on campus. The boys were going through items discarded by students that moved out of the dorms.

Graduation took place on Tuesday therefore the campus was fairly deserted as several students already moved out.

We are grateful that it was only a toy gun and not something more deadly as we are living in an era where we cannot ignore these scares.

The boys are in custody for questioning but it is not clear whether they will be charged as they was only in possession of a toy gun and did not use it to commit a crime.

Trip to Alaska for 'Twilight' enthusiasts

'Twilight' enthusiasts spend a week at sea.

If you are a 'Twilight' enthusiast then you have a chance to meet the stars of the film, as actors Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene will be on board for a three-day four-night cruise to Alaska.

Cruises Cruises Cruises, Inc. is planning a 'Twilight' trip to Alaska. The three-day, four-night cruise is set to leave from Seattle, Washington -- the state where the 'Twilight' series is set -- on August 8, 2010.

During the trip there will be movie viewings, a costume ball, charity auction, a Q&A session with Lutz and Greene, an autograph session, group photo shoot, contest giveaways and many more.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime. There is enough time to plan now and make your bookings well in advance because space is limited and if all the cabins are booked there won't be a second opportunity like this. The sooner you book the better chance of a choice of accommodation.
